The Palate Patrol found their way to UnoZoni’s at their new location near 6th & Railroad, downtown. Ted Hamze was proud to tell us that most of their business walks through the front door because of the Shopping News Coupon Book. He said, “Your Coupon Book is the biggest revenue generator we have.” Here’s what the Patrol had to say:

Mark: “My entrée was a Philly Cheese Cal Zoni – it was filling and tasty! It’s a great downtown location for a quick and reasonably priced lunch.”
Dee: “I had Cheesy Chicken Tortilla Soup & a mini order of Buffalo
Tenders.  The buffalo sauce was good & HOT! The soup was excellent!”
Scott: “The Buffalo Chicken Pizza & Cheesy Chicken Tortilla Soup was my choice for lunch. I would definitely order this again and recommend it to our readers. The buffalo sauce on the pizza was perfect – not over powering at all.”
Mary: “Lasagne & Bread Sticks were my choice today. The portion was way too much for me. It tasted like authentic Italian home cooking! I can’t believe you can get such a great meal for such a small price.”
John: “I had Cheesy Ravioli w/Meatballs. I always thought of Uno Zoni as a quick Calzone Shop, but this dish looked & tasted like one you would get at a fine Italian restaurant. The piles of ravioli along with the huge meatballs tested my large appetite. The only disappointment was that I didn’t have room for desert!

Prior to our Entrees, the Patrol shared a side of Nachos. They were fantastic & would be recommended for a meal. Ted Hamze told us they deliver to businesses for only a $20 minimum order. More than half of their diners order Calzones but the Pitas are becoming very popular.  Thanks Ted for inviting the Patrol to UnoZoni’s!
